Chapter 29
I help people who own the outcome turn uncertainty into something they can run.
My story isn't about one trip or one moment. It's about learning to rebuild when life knocks you sideways, and bringing that same momentum to people doing it for their work.
The turn
At 29, everything changed.
Back-to-back events shook my confidence and forced a hard reset. I didn't have a neat plan. I had to decide whether to stay stuck or take my life back.
The rebuild
I chose to move anyway.
I rebuilt piece by piece: new city, new routines, new work. Not because it was easy, but because standing still wasn't an option anymore.
The work
I found what I'm actually for.
Listening to people who own the work reminded me why the rebuild mattered. A shop, a practice, a company they're on the hook for: same hunger to author the next chapter, not just survive the current one.
Author29
Write what's yours.
Author29 is how I do that in practice: clarity when ideas are messy, better tools when software helps, and data when decisions need evidence instead of guesswork.
What I believe
- Authorship. You write your story. I help you build the systems, tools, and clarity for it.
- Whoever owns the result. Founders, operators, and the teams they put in charge. Size of the shop isn't the filter. Skin in the game is.
- Data with purpose. Almost a decade in data science taught me that the best decisions come from knowing what's happening, why, and what's likely next.
- Right-sized help. Sometimes that's an app. Sometimes it's reporting, advice, or the right off-the-shelf tool. The fit depends on you.
