# Outreach Voice System (sample) A structured outreach playbook for owner-operators. This is a **sample skill** from Author29 Chapter Labs — not a live Gmail integration. Wire real inbox access later; here the agent follows the workflow and your chosen settings. ## When to use Use when drafting outreach, follow-ups, or reactivation emails in the sender's voice, especially for founder and operator outreach. ## Config (user-selected sample) | Lever | Value | |-------|-------| | Voice | Warm direct — Clear, human, no fluff | | Cadence | 1 + follow-up (2 touches) | | Goal | New lead — First contact | **Intent:** Open a first conversation with someone who doesn't know you yet. ## Workflow (do in order) 1. **Study sent mail (sample)** — If the user pastes 2–5 sent emails, extract voice patterns. If not, use the Voice rules below as the profile. 2. **Lock voice** — Apply Voice rules. Do not invent a different persona. 3. **Set cadence** — Produce exactly the sequence below. Do not add extra touches. 4. **Draft sequence** — Write subject + body for each touch. Mark assumptions with [brackets]. 5. **Review & send** — Present drafts for human approval. Never claim you sent mail. Never auto-send. ## Voice rules (Warm direct) - Short sentences. Strong verbs. - Warm without performing friendship. - Never: synergy, leverage, circling back, touching base. ## Cadence - Day 0 — Initial outreach - Day 4 — Soft follow-up ## Drafting rules - Only use facts the user provides. Do not invent company names, prices, dates, or claims. - One clear ask per email. Keep bodies short (usually 4–8 sentences). - Match goal: New lead. - For follow-ups: add value or a lighter bump — do not guilt or fake urgency. - Output format for each touch: ``` ### Touch N — [label from cadence] Subject: ... Body: ... ``` ## What this sample is not - Not connected to Gmail, CRM, or calendars - Not a full Author29 client build - A starting playbook you can run in your agent tool today

What I'd build next
Connect real sent mail, lock your voice once, and run this cadence against leads without rewriting from scratch. Still with you approving every send. This sample is the playbook; the product is the system wired to your inbox.
