AUTHOR29 REFERRALS
The terms.
Everything that decides a payout, in one place.
What you earn
Everyone starts as a Referrer: 10% of the first project a new client signs with Author29, up to $500.
A client's first project is the first agreement they sign. Later projects with the same client do not add to it, except for First 29 members (below). Send someone new and you earn again.
Your 10% is figured on the project price before the client's credit.
What they get
The people you send get $250 off their first project when they book a call with your code. For AI Coaching, that is the first hour.
It comes off their deposit, and their proposal shows it. It applies once per client and is not paid out as cash.
Levels
Co-author: once three clients you sent have made their first payment. You earn 10% of each new client's first project with no cap, and the people you send get my next open start date.
First 29: by invitation, with 29 numbered seats in total. Members get everything Co-authors get, plus 10% of each repeat project from clients they sent, up to $500 per project, for projects that start within two years of that client's first payment. Monthly or hourly work counts as one project per year. Members also get one hour with me each quarter; an unused hour does not carry over.
Your level on the day a client's first payment clears sets the terms for that client. The client who makes you a Co-author counts at the Co-author rate.
Levels do not expire, and a First 29 seat is never given to anyone else.
When and how you get paid
About two weeks after the client's first payment clears. I email you first, then send it to your bank through Stripe.
When a payout has no cap and the client pays in installments, I send 10% of each installment about two weeks after it clears.
Hourly or monthly work, like AI Coaching, has no fixed price, so its first year counts as the first project. I send 10% of each payment about two weeks after it clears, up to $500 in total on Referrer terms.
You set up payouts once, on Stripe's secure form, with your bank account and tax details. Stripe keeps them. If Stripe does not work for you, email me and we will find another way.
Who counts
A new client is someone who has not worked with Author29 before.
The referral code on the booking form decides who sent someone. Your link fills it in for them, and they can also type it in. Your link remembers a person for 90 days after they first open it.
If two people send the same person, the code they book with counts. A code they type themselves counts over one a link filled in.
Sending yourself or your own company does not count.
Telling people
Every message you send about Author29 says plainly that you get a thank-you if they work with me. The messages on your page already include that line.
Privacy
Your page shows who booked, who became a client, and what is on the way to you. What someone tells me on a call stays between us.
Leaving, or changes
You can leave from your page at any time. Your link stops working for anyone new.
If I change or end the program, I will email you first.
Either way, payouts you have already earned are still paid.
