AI Coaching

Get hours back by getting actually good at AI.

Not a prompt pack. We find the gaps in your week first. Then I teach the skills and systems I actually use to ship.

$250 / hour · Talk first. Packages only after we know the shape.

A typical operator week

Same work. Far fewer hours.

Patterns from real weeks, not a multiplier from a blog post. We measure yours.

Draft

Research

Follow-up

Gray = before · Copper = after a system you can run

Why this exists

AI is only useful if it shortens your week.

Most people dabble, then still do the long version. Coaching is the missing piece: judgment, a system, and practice on your actual work.

01

Time is the product

If you’re good with AI, drafting, research, and follow-up stop eating the afternoon. The lever isn’t magic. It’s judgment plus a system you can run every week.

02

Judgment over prompts

A saved prompt is cheap. Knowing when to trust the draft, when to rewrite, and when not to use AI at all is the skill. That’s what we practice.

03

Systems that survive Monday

A skill in your voice. A review loop. A checklist that fits the tools you already have. You keep it after the session ends.

Time you can get back

If you're good with AI, hours return.

Illustrative patterns from operator weeks, not a guarantee. Your numbers depend on the work. We measure yours on the first call.

TaskBeforeAfter a system

Weekly writing

4–6 hours

~1 hour

A voice skill plus a review pass. You still decide what ships.

Follow-up in drafts

A stuck afternoon

A 20-minute loop

Once the system is yours, it runs on a cadence instead of guilt.

Research / briefing

20 tabs, ~2 hours

A structured pass

AI gathers; you check what’s true. That’s the whole point.

Who it's for

Operators who want the skill, not a vendor.

  • Operators whose week is writing, follow-up, research, or ops, and who can feel the hours leaking.
  • People already dabbling in ChatGPT who still do the long version of every task.
  • Founders who want AI in their actual workflow, not a certificate and a slide deck.

The system

Four pieces. Fit first, then hours.

Talk first is the product, not a formality. I need the gaps before I take anyone on.

01

Diagnose the week

Where hours go. Which tasks repeat. Which tools you already have.

We talk before any package. I need the gaps, or I can’t teach the right thing. If it isn’t a fit, I’ll say so.

02

Teach the skill

The tool, and the judgment: when to trust, rewrite, or skip AI.

Not a tour of every model. The few moves that actually shorten your work, practiced on your real tasks.

03

Install the system

A skill in your voice. A checklist. A review loop you can keep.

Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Codex: whatever you already live in. The point is a system that survives Monday without me in the room.

04

Practice until it’s yours

Sessions plus work in your actual week, not a lecture.

You do the reps between hours. That’s how the time actually comes back. I won’t take you on if you want it done for you.

Why learn this from me

I teach what I use to ship.

Not a certification. The same motion behind Author29: data, products, and skills you can run without me.

10+ years in data

I come from evidence, not AI hype. I care whether something actually changed the week, not whether it looked impressive in a screenshot.

I ship AI products

Relay, First Book, Queue, Voice Studio: live trials for operators, not decks about “transformation.” I teach what I use to build.

I write the skills I teach

Chapter Labs produce skills for Cursor, Claude, and Codex. You learn the same motion: voice, constraints, a review loop, then it runs without me.

Operators, not theater

I work with people betting on themselves. The coaching matches that: specific to your work, no certificate, no room full of strangers.

See the live trials on Work and the skill pattern in Chapter Labs.

Straight talk

What this is not

  • Not a ChatGPT 101 webinar, a prompt pack, or a group course.
  • Not a promise you’ll 10× your output. We measure your week: patterns, not multipliers from a blog post.
  • Not me building the product for you. That’s a build package. Coaching is the skill becoming yours.
  • I won’t take you on if the gap is “do it for me,” or if you won’t practice between sessions.
  • Talk first is the filter. Fit before hours. Always.
